Currently the IAT office is open to the public from 9 am to 1 pm, from Monday to Friday.
HOW TO GET TO TERNI
By car
For those arriving from the North: Autostrada del Sole (A1) towards Rome, Valdichiana exit, BETTOLLE-PERUGIA motorway link, E45 PERUGIA-TERNI highway.
For those arriving from the South: Autostrada del Sole (A1) towards Florence, exit Orte, motorway link ORTE-TERNI.
From Viterbo: Along the S.S. 1bis to Orte and then continuing along the ORTE-TERNI motorway link.
Alternative routes of particular landscape interest: From Rome (or from the Marche) along the state road 3 (Flaminia) which reaches Terni and then continues to Spoleto, Foligno up to the Adriatic. Coming from the Marche, along the state road 256 to Norcia and then crossing the Valnerina (state road 209) to Terni.
By train
The main railway line that crosses Terni is the ROME-ANCONA
Coming from both the South and the North it is possible, changing at Orte, to reach Terni via the ROME-FLORENCE
By plane
