St. Erasmo archaeological site
The walls delimit an area, perhaps the ancient Clusiulum "super lnteramnam" mentioned by Plinio.
Along the walls, the presence of two entrances is recognizable, of which the northern one, with a double door, seems to be the main entrance, thanks to its monumental features. The other entrance, facing the Terni valley, had a single door, probably preceded by a series of ramps with a winding course, embedded in the rock.
On the rocky spur stood a temple. The church of St.Erasmo was built on top of the temple, where the mediaeval fortress of Cesi once stood.
