The exhibition, dedicated to one of the first women enrolled in the Bauhaus art school, Margarete Heymann, a famous ceramics designer, is a tribute to an artist marginalised by a patriarchal society where racial discrimination prevailed
One hundred and fifty works on display include ceramics, metal objects and period textiles. You can also admire some lithographs by Vasily Kandinsky that are part of the permanent collection of the Aurelio De Felice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
An interesting exhibition that from 20 April, will remain open at the CAOS until 1 December with the following opening hours:
Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 1pm and 5pm to 8pm.
The full-price ticket is €10.00, for students up to the age of 18 it is €8.00, and for student groups of more than 10 it is €5.00 per person.
On Sunday 21 April, at 5 p.m., it will be possible to take part in a guided tour led by the curator of the exhibition, Carlo Terrosi, which is included in the entrance ticket. An opportunity to learn more about the historical and social context in which the Bauhaus was born and the artist Margarete Heymann.
