The traditional star that lights up the Terni Basin every year during the Christmas season begins to shine this Christmas more or less a month earlier than the Immaculate Conception.
From 12 November until the evening of the Epiphany, it can be admired in all its splendour while the numerous events scheduled for the "Christmas of St Valentine 2023” will take place.
A special opening ceremony is planned for the lighting of the star, marking the commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the first depiction of the Nativity scene, created by St Francis in Greccio.
