Church of Santa Maria della Pace
Designed by the contemporary architect Paolo Portoghesi, the church has a star-shaped floor plan, reflected in the layout of the roof. Constructed with the use of wood, sponge stone (a material widely used in buildings in the Terni area), and pink stone, its interior features a pictorial cycle by Stefano Di Stasio, illustrating the stories of the Umbrian Protomartyrs.
The church is also the point from which the route of the Franciscan Protomartyrs begins.
