De Felice Park
Aurelio De Felice (1915-1996), one of the most important sculptors (but he was also a painter and poet) of the 20th century, was born in Torre Orsina where he worked for a long time in his house-studio (located on the hill that De Felice praised as 'the hill of my Infinity'). In a garden in front of the house, there is an open-air museum where copies of some of his famous sculptures are exhibited and where the fountain designed by the artist is located. It is a suggestive place also because from here the view sweeps over the beauty of the Valnerina, including the Marmore Falls and the village of Collestatte.
The 'Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art' at the CAOS in Terni, in addition to being named after Aurelio De Felice, houses an entire exhibition space dedicated to the works of this extraordinary artist (Aurelio De Felice section).
